Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday
Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday is a beautiful thing.
Some friends of mine are on Oprah’s OWN network this weekend, on Sunday, Nov. 18.
My personal business coach, Marie Forleo, my editor at The Daily Love, Mastin Kipp, and friend/author, Gabby Bernstein will all be there. Marie said this to me after taping the episode in Chicago.
“Did you know that this one show, Super Soul Sunday, is the whole reason she started OWN?!”
Oprah said, “SUPER SOUL SUNDAY is my favorite show and the real reason I wanted a network.”
Apparently Oprah is so committed to igniting meaningful conversations and helping us come together to find greater clarity, direction and purpose – that she started an entire NETWORK to do it.
And you know not everyone has supported her along the way.
In fact, over the past 18 months, so many people in the media have tried to tear her down. They’ve told her she can’t do this.
As entrepreneurs, dreamers and seekers who are working to create a better world – we know how important it is to have people support us and believe in our dreams.
Oprah wants feedback and support to continue to build OWN and this is our chance to give back and support a woman who has inspired us all for decades.
Here’s something else my coach, Marie Forleo learned about Oprah.
One of her favorite parts about Super Soul Sunday is the online discussion that happens during the show itself.
Oprah is super engaged in new media and reads all the “Tweet Tweets” and Facebook messages (aha moments, questions, etc.) that viewers share around every episode. Like every single one.
Amazing right?
