Strawberry Sorbet
May is National Strawberry Month.
Nothing tastes better than fresh, organic strawberries off the vine. I have a planter of wild strawberries on my back porch and we grab them as we come in the kitchen door. Heaven.
Here’s a simple, refreshing homemade sorbet you can blend up in no time.
Ingredients
1 bag frozen strawberries
1 bag frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 frozen banana
1/4 cup coconut water
Preparation
1. Put all ingredients into a blender or Vita-Mix.
2. Blend until creamy, about one minute. You may have to scrape down the sides of the machine a few times if using a regular blender.
3. Serve immediately.
4. Place remainder in the freezer to enjoy later.
