Book First Look #1: The Bad Boys

Whether you are a Flexible Vegetarian, Modern Vegan or Healthy Omnivore (not sure? This is a topic I return to often in Discover Your Nutritional Style.

Here’s the bottom line: if you’re experiencing digestive issues, can’t lose those last 10 pounds, have trouble sleeping, or experience skin breakouts or rashes, one of the Bad Boys may be to blame. The trouble is, the Bad Boys won’t kill you, but they will wear you out, and prevent you from shining the way I know you want to.

Who are these Bad Boys? Here’s an overview;

  • Gluten: It’s not hype. Cutting out gluten is helping millions to feel better. Click here to see what grains I opt for instead.
  • Dairy: Skin not looking so great? It may be your dairy addiction. Feed your ice cream craving with this yummy treat you can make in your Vitamix.
  • Soy: It may not be as healthy as you think. Unless you’re eating it in it’s pure form (edamame), it’s most likely processed and eaten in moderation, or not at all.
    • Sugar: It’s in 80% of all processed foods. If you’re in a funk, sugar may be the culprit.
