Finding your nutritional style is about tuning into your body, listening to what it’s saying, believing that food is that powerful, and making the changes to correct what’s not working for you at this time. Just like choosing the jeans that make you feel your best, it’s about trial and error and finding the way of eating that makes you feel amazing.
Your food and nutrition are unique to you, and don’t fit into someone else’s plan or ideal, despite your hubby’s love of red meat or your mom’s love of sharing her homemade brownies. You don’t want to feel good or bad about yourself based on whether or not you stuck to a diet someone else created, right?
Get smart and stand up for your own health. Make the connection between what’s on your plate and any health issues, however minor, you may have. See the difference in the mirror, on the scale, and maybe even in your blood test results. Feel it in the way you jump out of bed in the morning, and how much more you’re smiling through the day.
