Candy Cane Smoothie

Nothing says HOLIDAY like a bright candy cane, but most of them are made with processed white sugar or cane syrup, and additives you don’t to eat. This smoothie delights the senses, and tastes like Christmas-in-a-glass.
Natural mint leaves and essential oil helps promote a strong digestive track, and will lift your spirits, a bonus for this time of year. Get your dark leafy phytonutrients and iron with spinach, your balanced protein with DIY hemp milk, and cool any inflammation you have going on with some cinnamon. Sound good?

Ingredients
1 cup DIY hemp milk (you can substitute any non-diary milk here)
generous handful of ice cubes
1/2 cup peppermint leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 drops peppermint essential oils
1/4 cup cacao
3/4 cup spinach
Preparation
Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.
