Creamsicle Smoothie
This creamy smoothie is a bright spot for days when you need a shot of sunshine.
It’s loaded with Vitamin C, and perfect for the first days of fall to help keep your immunity strong. Spices like cinnamon and nutmeg are warming, and help you adjust to a new chill in the air.
INGREDIENTS
1 scoop or packet vanilla protein powder
1 cup or so almond milk
1 orange or nectarine, or a couple of clementines, peeled
2 Medjool dates (you can substitute Stevia to taste if you’re cleansing)
1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
a dash of cinnamon
a smaller dash of nutmeg
Optional: 1 small frozen banana
PREPARATION
Put all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend.
