3 Easy Ways to Get your Greens, Gorgeous
You don’t need me to tell you to eat your greens.
Or do you?
Greens, especially the dark, leafy ones, are loaded with vitamins and phytonutrients. Greens are plant nutrition power-players that will boost your immunity, reduce inflammation, balance your body, support heart health and your nervous system, strengthen bones, help with elimination, and give you gorgeous, glowing skin.
(Did you just read that like a Peanuts cartoon? blah blah blah blah, gorgeous glowing skin?)
They’ll also increase your energy, and your moods. It’s a lifestyle that you need to get into to ensure that you live a long and healthy one. And look amazing while you do.
Here are some ways to do it:
-Have a salad twice a day, at lunch and dinner.
Unless you’re drinking green smoothies 3 times a day, this is a fantastic habit to get into that’ll keep your digestion operating at full capacity. Make it delicious with the best olive oil vinaigrette you can make, or toasted sesame oil and lemon.

-Blend a green smoothie each day
Blending your vegetables allows you to eat more of them. And blended greens are easy to digest, saving you the hard work, and allowing you to reap the benefits faster.
Here’s one I love.
-Enjoy a green juice too
Pressed green juices are now available at Whole Foods from BluePrint Cleanse, and Suja brand pressed juices and smoothies can be found in many health food stores. Be sure the pressed juices you’re enjoying are organic; some of them being sold right now are not. You don’t want juiced chemicals, do you?
Pressed juices are made with a Norwalk Juice Press. They have more nutrients and stay fresh longer than a homemade juice. Grocery store aisle juices should be avoided.
You can blend these juices with your favorite protein powder at home for an over the top nutrient boost.
If you have a juicer, make your own green juice. Here’s an easy recipe.
