You can make this a vegan option, or add organic sausage as pictured here. The resulting dish at the end of the day is aromatic and delicious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n(all organic, please)<br \/>\n1 large yellow sweet onion<br \/>\n1 cup baby carrots, cut in half<br \/>\n3 garlic cloves, minced<br \/>\n3 cups Great Northern or Canneloni beans<br \/>\n(I recommend pre-cooking; if you use canned please use Eden brand to avoid BPA toxin lining the can)<br \/>\n1 cup baby organic tomatoes, sliced in half<br \/>\n1\/2 cup vegetable stock<br \/>\n1\/4 cup apple cider vinegar<br \/>\n1 inch wide piece of kombu (a seaweed that&#8217;s found dried in the Asian section of your market)<br \/>\nHimalayan sea salt<br \/>\nGround pepper<br \/>\n*optional- add 3 sliced organic turkey sausages<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add all ingredients to the slow cooker.. and wait 8 hours until ready.<\/p>\n<p>I served this dish with millet on the side.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"display: block !important; margin:0 !important; padding: 0 !important\" id=\"wpp_popup_post_end_element\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; This delicious cassoulet is perfect for your slow cooker, and an easy meal to assemble when you&#8217;re short on time in the morning.
